When Melissa and I checked into the hotel we found out it was the night of Fete De Music! Once a year there are hundreds of musicians, groups, singers, etc playing all over Paris! We went walking, and came upon the drummers along the Seine. Well, I knew I had to play! Any of you that know me well, know I am a participater and will join in to just about anything, even a phoney card trick scam...haa haaaaa! So I went down and stood and watched them play until they stopped and I asked if I could play, when I sat down and put the drum between my legs there was a hum of uh huh's in the audience like they thought , oh no, who is this chick? Well, I started toplay slowly at first, it was a very nice Djembe. The leader, I could tell, went to the rhythm drums and joined in my paying. I played for about 15-20 minutes one of the highlights of my LIFE! To play with French and African drummers along the Seine in Paris was a dream! I will never forget it!...too bad I had my camera in my bag and Melissa was up above us....

Djembe by the Seine
